Old / broken device? Throw it away?
Suppose you have an old or defective device such as a laptop and want get of off it. E.g. because you have already purchased a new one or these device is not longer needed. What do you do with it?
THROW THOSE NOT IN THE TRASH. But what to do? Here are some tips:
- Depending on the state of the device, you can put it on an auction website such as ebay. Maybe you can make someone else happy. Your defective device can probably be used to fix someone else device, such as a faulty laptop screen from a fall.
- Donate it to someone who collects old electronics for recycling.
- Take him to the dump. Here they can recycle your device. This is better for the environment.
